The Crucifixion – Tavitajoy

The Crucifixion

The darkness shone brighter than the noonday sun
The path I chose was a straight one, but
I never saw the curve coming
The guide spoke without a word, instructing me
He showed me the way, but
I wonder if he is lost
At the end of the battle I heard the cry, I won!
I died, I was sure I did, but
Here I am alive
A spiraling mental image, as he writhed
My heart cut, my soul
In confusion
Forgive her, was his final cry
He took the reproof
