The Day Is No More – Zodiac Child

Posted on: April 3, 2010

So sweet the hour, so calm the time.

I feel it more than half the crime.

When nature sleeps & the stars are mute,

To admire the silence even with lute.

All at rest on the oceans brilliant dyes.

Tears, Idle tears, I know not what I mean.

Tears from the depths of some kind of divine despair,

Risin in the heart and gathering to the eyes.

In looking on the autumn fields,

Thinking of the days that are no more.

Im’ sad as the last, which reddens over me.

So sad, so fresh, the day that is no more.
