Sanctuary and Serenity

The reply…
From MerryMax!

To the Knight who attempts to pierce the night
With words of wisdom and promises of peace
I look toward you and hope for light
Though most of the time, it seems out of reach
As a child of pain, I wished for the ones
Who could wave a wand and grant release
In this moment, the child no longer runs
It is time for the torment inside to cease
Give me the canvass of belief and I’ll try
To paint a world that we all can share
Breaking the silence frees me from the lie
And leads me to the ones who care.
